Abbazia Di Novacella Sauvignon 2022 Review
Abbazia Di Novacella (The Abbey of the town of Novacella) has been in production since the 12th century in the region of Alto Adige in northern Italy. The Augustinian monks who steward the abbey make thoughtful, delicious wines at an incredible value — and this Sauvignon is a perfect example. The nose is inviting with waxy citrus and lemongrass, maybe some fresh sliced pear. The palate is perfectly balanced with round fruit and some added melon notes.
