Abbazia di Novacella Schiava 2022 Review
Abbazia Di Novacella (The Abbey of the town of Novacella) has been in production since the 12th century in the region of Alto Adige in northern Italy. The Augustinian monks who steward the abbey make thoughtful, delicious wines at an incredible value like this bottle made form the native Schiava grape. A juicy nose with ripe fruit and a saline quality. The palate is dry, with grippy fruit that becomes vibrant with a chill.
