Castello Monterinaldi Chianti Classico DOCG 2015 Review
We don’t see enough Radda on the US market, and this is one that isn’t easy to find, but if you can you will be rewarded with a powerful Chianti Classico with firm tannins that have a nice grip and acidity that helps to accentuate classic aromas of sour cherries, forest floor and some baking spices. The oak influence of the wine is mostly for structure and thankfully doesn’t show too much vanilla, allowing the wine to be a nice, big, structured, earthy wine great for a big meal.
