Aperture Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Review
A unique take on the grape with barrel fermentation bringing notes of vanilla and coconut. With a swirl there is a sweet, flakey pastry aroma drizzled with lime oil and a hint of basil. The acidity is calm, and the mouthfeel is slick, with the well-integrated high-alcohol slipping and sliding. It’s a hefty price, but interesting enough to justify the coin.
