Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2024 Review
Known for its Chardonnay and ageworthy Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau Montelena has a few surprises up its sleeve as well. The iconic winery makes a beautiful Zinfandel, and here we have an elegant, balanced Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in French oak for five months, it offers a lemony, creamy nose, with hints of white pepper. The soft touch of Semillon (18 percent in the final blend) helps maintain depth and texture to the body without overpowering the wine's aroma. Well done.
