There are countless variations. This one takes the original Paloma recipe — tequila, lime, salt, and grapefruit soda — and elevates it substantially with fresh fruit juices and cherry heering. The balance is really delicious, and the notes of sweetness from the agave syrup really set it apart.
- 1.5 ounces tequila blanco
- ½ ounce cherry heering
- ¾ ounce pineapple juice
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce agave syrup
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail glass with ice.
- Shake to chill and combine ingredients.
- Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
