Terre di Preseto "Albore" Chianti Classico DOCG 2013 Review

The pepper notes from the Cab lifts up and weaves into the quiet cherry notes of the Sangiovese surrounded by nice floral notes wisping around the edges. The Cab unfortunately takes away from some of those Sangiovese subtleties of bright fruit and true tangy cherry that is often celebrated in Chianti wines and modernizes it a bit, but if you can find this wine the balance of acidity and tannin (due to a full year in stainless before 18 months in oak) makes this a solid wine for a proper Tuscan inspired meal.
