Tenuta San Leonardo 'San Leonardo' Red Wine 2014 Review
This wine will grab you by the nose and not let go. It commands your attention with smells of cherry liqueur, fresh turned soil, and the slightest hint of oregano and tarragon. All these descriptors are cool and all, but what you experience on the nose goes well beyond words. The palate is arresting with elegant, well-aged fruit. The herbs carry from the nose, adding to the complexity. The tannins are no longer around the edges but woven into the wine. Sharing this wine will be a chore.
