Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish Review
In a sea of ultra-aged releases and increasingly obscure finishing casks, 12-year-old Scotches are virtually the industry standard for single malt expressions, and they remain the age at which the competition is the fiercest. Given the high prices of many 12-year-old single malts, this amontillado-cask-finished Scotch from Glenfiddich stands as one of the best bargains on the market. The nose and palate deliver waves of fresh berries and sherried oak, rounded out by a delightful, persistent finish.
