Spearhead Single Grain Scotch Whisky Review
Although single grain whisky is typically light in texture and subtly fruity and spiced in profile, this expression from Loch Lomond Distillery takes the liquid to the next level with a 6-month finishing period in virgin American oak. Apples, pears, and a touch of oaky sweetness are apparent from nose to finish. Whether you plan on mixing up highballs or sipping whisky on the rocks, Spearhead Single Grain is a great, budget-friendly option.
