Forlorn Hope 'Queen of the Sierra' Red 2021 Review
Forlorn Hope was founded in 2005 on the principle of celebrating the little guy, the unsung heroes of the California landscape throughout its history. Matthew Rorick and Mara Ambrose tend a 75-acre organic vineyard filled with varieties that were once a forlorn hope. The unique blend has a bright floral nose with some ripe strawberry and cherry aromas. The palate is very juicy with more brightness and smooth tannins around the edges. The high acidity brings a vibrant quality to the wine. A great wine to sip on its own, maybe even with a slight chill!
