Cruz de Fuego Espadín
Review
This mezcal is one of the best entry-level mezcals we’ve tasted. It embodies all of the characteristics of a textbook Espadín and is a pleasure to sip. On the nose, you’re greeted with a blend of woody, BBQ smoke and tropical fruit. The smokiness is brightened up on the palate by the presence of unripe pineapple, green notes, and the subtle pepperiness of fresh agave. It has a lot of personality and is a great bottle to have on hand for mixing cocktails. But don’t be afraid to sip this one either.
