Buckel Family Wine Zinfandel 2023 Review
Founders Joe and Shamai Buckel have California winemaking experience, but decided to pursue their love of the outdoors and set up shop in Colorado. Sourced from the Dallas Black Vineyard in Palisade, Colo., this high-elevation Zinfandel is unlike anything you've had. The nose has sweet beetroot, peppery blackberry jam, and crunchy fall leaves. The mouthfeel is very Zinfandel, with soft, jammy fruit and a slight tannic edge.
