Bodegas Ochoa Calendas Tinto 2017 Review
What a good deal! Soft, dark and medium-bodied Tempranillo that is balanced with inky, dark and brooding Garnacha (Grenache) to make this peppery, aromatic, tart wine. It has the depth that will pair with some grilled lamb, and the acidity to jive with grilled octopus. It’s under screw cap as well as under $15 and deserves to be a staple in your wine cabinet. It will even do well with a slight chill on it to share with your pals under the sun.
