I’ve recently become obsessed with cocktails that have a spicy flair. It seems that everything I order at the bar or make at home currently has some kind of spicy component, and after trying many different spicy cocktails, I can say with absolute confidence that the best spicy cocktail is a spicy margarita. The spice in this cocktail works beautifully, complementing the earthy agave and honey flavors of the tequila while maintaining its spicy presence without overwhelming.
Today I’m sharing a Blackberry Jalapeño Margarita, which is a perfect drink to make at home. Not only is this margarita tasty, but its ingredients showcase the delicious, fresh flavors of jalapeño and blackberry. These subtle flavors enhance the flavor of the tequila without making the drink super sweet or too spicy.
My friends and family can’t get enough of this spicy margarita and always request it when they come over. This cocktail will become a staple at your house too, because not only is it tasty but it matches up with food easily, too. For a fun party, whip up a batch of these margaritas with simple appetizers like chips and salsa and quesadillas. It’s the ultimate margarita, and will continue to make your guests happy.
