Walnut Block Collectables Sauvignon Blanc 2023 Review
The Walnut Block winery, in the high-quality Wairau Valley sub-region of Marlborough, takes its name from the landmark walnut tree that lies in the center of its vineyard. Here, brothers Clyde and Nigel Sowman work to organically farm the vines, as they both believe the key to a great wine is a great vineyard. This leads to a beautifully expressive Sauvignon Blanc. There's fresh citrus and tropical fruit notes, with a distinct lemon oil flavor on the palate. A wonderful expression of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc for a great price.
