Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2015 Review

The balance here is impeccable. The acidity and the restraint on the raisinated notes elevate this wine to the top of the list of most harmonious Amarone, which is not easy to do. The nose is alive, with savory baking spices and plum along with cracked black pepper teasing the edges. With a swirl and sip the wine is chewy and comfy on the palate with added notes of dark cherry and a splash of espresso. It’s an expensive wine, but if your gonna go big on Amarone, seek this one out.
