Domaine Vincent Carême Vouvray Sec 2015 Review
Made by one of the Loire Valley’s most exciting producers, this dry Vouvray is a textbook yet nuanced example of Chenin Blanc. Ripe yellow apple and fresh yellow flowers lie under notes of roasted almonds, salty cheese rind, buttermilk and a hint of pumpkin pie spice. Bracing acidity grips the palate, like fresh lemon juice, brightening but not sacrificing any of the complex, rocky flavors.
