Pedroncelli Winery Bushnell Vineyard Rosé 2022
Review
The Pedroncelli family came to California in the 1920s and established a vineyard just outside of Geyserville. When prohibition hit they were lucky enough to be able to sell grapes from their Zinfandel vines as local produce to keep the lights on. After the Volstead Act was repealed, the family immediately took action to get the business up and running again. Today the fourth generation of the Pedroncellis are at the helm with the family’s third, and first female, winemaker Montse Reece guiding the process. This rosé of Zinfandel is a testament to the original vision of the farm. It’s expressive and juicy with some floral raspberry vibes on the nose. The balance on the palate is great, with refreshing acidity contrasting the round creamy texture. It’s a rosé that draws you and keeps you there.
