Ogier Artesis Cotes du Rhone 2017 Review

The savory smells on this are awesome. It’s all salty soy and mint, with a dose of balsamic. There is an herby element as well, which smells of all the herbs you cook with (tarragon, oregano, rosemary). There is a nice lift on the palate but also some weight, and as it opens, you can get a whiff of roasted coffee beans. This is a great weeknight bottle if you're cooking up a lean meat like pork.
