What a good weeknight wine. The Sangiovese brings the ripe cherry and cranberry smells, and the Merlot holds those aromas and brings a softness to the palate. It will pair with pasta as well as a lean steak. It's a fantastic bottle to have around to pop Monday through Thursday.
