Marietta Cellars Armé 2019 Review
Up in Mendocino, where the climate is cool, the team at Marietta is doing great things. Along with making delicious wine, they are a team that celebrates their entire staff from vineyard to winery. You get a sense that everyone at this winery has a vested interest in making the best wine possible. This red blend will give you a good intro to their vibe. The nose is meaty with dense fruit tinged with the inherent pepperiness of Cab emerging to mesh with the blackberry coulis aroma. The palate has a nice lift with great natural acidity that balances a grippy fruit-concentrated mouthfeel.
