Marchelle Wines Old Vine Family Cuvée Proprietary Red Wine 2021 Review
The Marchelle winery is named after winemaker Greg La Follette and his partner Kevin’s significant others Mara and Michelle. The winery is a testament to their enduring friendship, and represents a new chapter in La Follette's winemaking journey. They source from cool climate, sustainable vineyards and make wines with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of place. This wine is made with old vine Carignan and an almost extinct variety called Monbadon. It's bright and lively with a fruit-forward nose. The palate has dense fruit notes and great acidity that leads to a lingering finish.
