Even though Zinfandel and Carignan are considered two relatively full-bodied grapes, this wine is made with carbonic maceration — inspired by France's popular Beaujolais Nouveau wines — giving this bottle a fresh and fruity profile. The wine is light on its feet, with a low ABV, bright acidity, and vibrant notes of cherry soda, black raspberry, and fruit punch.
