Iconic Wines Sidekick Merlot 2017 Review

If you need to get this wine online, do it. This is a great American red wine. It’s Merlot with a good dollop of Cabernet Franc and a damn success. The soft, plush Merlot vibes wash over the palate, while a warming perception of wood smoke and cedar swim through the wine, mingling with cracked black pepper. It’s one of the most comfy reds I’ve had from Cali, and you could definitely pair this with a lean steak or roasted chicken, but I’m thinking a legit plate of local meats and cheeses with some good company will make this wine really shine.
