Hatzidakis Aidani Dry White Wine 2020 Review
The Hatzidakis winery began in 1996 when an abandoned vineyard of the native white grape Aidani and a cellar in the hill to boot. Konstantina and her family brought new life to the space and presented to the world their first vintage (1997) in 1998. This wine is like drinking the past. Made from Aidani it is rustic and balanced. It has a big waft of herbs on the nose including thyme, a hint of sage, and some hints of fennel. It is quite flinty and earthy on the nose and palate with a nice weight.
