Gaspard Sauvignon Blanc 2022 Review
This bottle from France's Loire Valley over-delivers for the price. It might not be from one of the esteemed appellations of Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé, but it offers exactly what you look for from these regions. It has notes of crispy green apple, freshly cut grass, and juicy grapefruit. The punchy fruit is balanced by a chalky minerality and bright acidity. This is a case-buy if we've ever seen one.
