Foris Vineyards Pinot Gris 2022 Review
Foris Vineyards was one of the first to plant in the Rouge Valley of Oregon. To this day are the southernmost winery in the state, but at a higher elevation than many surrounding regions — making it ideal for cool-climate varieties. They focus on cool-climate wines and this bottle is a great example of their skills. The nose has quiet pear fruit with quenching saline. But it’s the palate that seals the deal with nice texture and a little roundness, making for a somewhat deep yet refreshing wine.
