Dogwood & Thistle Sauvignon Blanc 2022 Review
Dogwood & Thistle is a California-based winery founded by husband and wife team Sandy and Erin. The winery is named for Dogwood (Erin’s native Virginia state flower) and Thistle (Sandy’s native Scotland national flower). They source their Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Charles Vineyard in Mendocino and, wow, does that cool climate come through in the wine. The winery's Sauvignon Blanc is bright and expressive with lime oil and lemongrass notes and a slaking mineral vibe. It has full, juicy fruit with great acidity and a balanced medium finish.
