Division-Villages 'Les Petits Fers' Gamay Noir 2022 Review
A former banker and a winemaker with experience in French vineyards walk into a winery. Well, Division Winemaking Company co-founders Thomas Monroe and Kate Norris did that but then actually began one of their own. Division's “villages” series of wines, aims to emulate France's laid-back, everyday drinking bottles. This semi-carbonic Gamay absolutely gives French-countryside-weekday vibes. It has a deep, earthy nose with bright red fruit and a dose of pepper that's very inviting. The palate has more juicy fruit with hints of herbs and a great acidity.
