Crossbarn Paul Hobbs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Review
This Cab is a great blend. What?! In Cali, if you have a variety on the label on a non-estate wine it only has to comprise 75% of the bottle. I know. It's weird. And I would give this wine a higher grade if it was just honest with us. This is classic Napa Valley wine, with surprising balance at 14.5% alcohol, saved by the acidity of the Merlot and Cabernet Franc. There are aromas of red currant and blackberry fruit with notes of calm vanilla mingling with the sweet smell of fresh tobacco leaf.
