Chateau Carbonnieux Pessac-Leognan Blanc 2015 Review
I am a bit confused here. This wine is $40, but does not taste like the price tag. It’s lean, and that’s cool, but the aromas are off, and the palate is bitter, interfering with what should be a mineral driven, peppery, and refreshing white wine. It’s as if they picked the Sauvignon Blanc too soon and the Semillon too late. The label looks cool though, so if you want to gift your boss or a host you don’t know that well maybe they’ll like it.
