Boeger Winery Reserve Meritage 2019 Review
The Boegers bought this Gold Rush-era winery in California's El Dorado AVA and brought it into the 21st century. Originally focusing on Italian grapes, specifically Barbera, they have since expanded beyond the boot with wines. Thankfully so because this red blend is a joy to sip. It has a big, fruit-forward nose that pulls you in. The plush palate is the definition of a rich red blend.
