Basil Hayden Golden Rye Review

A rye whiskey for those folks who think Tabasco is “too spicy.” All kidding aside, this low-proof, 100 percent malted rye Jim Beam product is indeed mild and delicate, but there’s a lot to like. Floral with vanilla notes, the palate is coffee cake with a pleasantly sweet finish. Like most Basil Hayden releases, this is a great place for beginners to dip their toes into the category.
