Sazerac Full Proof Rye Whiskey Review

Though most whiskey fans like Sazerac Rye, the biggest gripe has long been that it doesn’t have a high enough proof and disappears in cocktails. No longer. This 125 “full proof” heater came out earlier in the year and it completely brings it. Though 51 percent “barely rye,” it has an incredible intensity, with baking spice, dill, and herbal notes with a sweet, caramel balance leading to a peppery, oaky finish.
