Balletto Vineyards Rosé of Pinot Noir 2022 Review
The Balletto family is a big part of the history of Sonoma wine. They sold fruit to award-winning winemakers for years and eventually took the plunge and released their first vintage in 2001. This estate-grown rosé of Pinot Noir is so successful in grabbing the soft, fat fruit the grape loves to give in pink form. The nose is slightly floral with hints of peaches that carry through to the palate. The mouthfeel is punchy, with great acidity and a calm creaminess that coats the palate.
