Badia a Coltibuono Chianti CLassico Riserva DOCG 2015 Review
This wine has the true structure of a wine from Gaiole. The 10% of Canaiolo takes a slight shine away from the Sangiovese, but in the best way by deepening the wine. Signature sour cherry notes along with earthy tones dominate this wine, with only a hint of oak. The Canaiolo comes in to add the slightest mention of mocha and baking spices. This bottle was held an extra year in bottle before release to give you all these characteristics. It's fantastic.
