Alexakis Winery Kotsifali - Syrah 2015 Review
This wine borders on a new world style with a good amount of oak softening the wine and adding a tinge of vanilla. Yet it also maintains an old world style with salty, savory notes of cracked black pepper and smoke not allowing the oak influence to overwhelm. It’s a great wine to pop if you are looking for something new for your palate, and would kill with grilled meats like lamb and maybe some lemon potatoes.
