The Story Behind The Prickly Pear Spritz
It’s spritz season! Ready to experiment with different versions? This spritz combines the vegetal notes of tequila with bottled prickly pear syrup and bubbly Prosecco. The color and flavors are beautiful.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce tequila
- ½ ounce store-bought prickly pear syrup
- ½ ounce fresh lime juice
- 2 ounces Prosecco
- Soda water top
- Lime peel, for garnish
Directions
- Combine tequila, prickly pear syrup, and lime in a shaker.
- Shake to combine, and then strain over clear ice.
- Top with Prosecco and soda.
- Garnish with lime peel.
