Applebee’s drink deals have inspired excitement for many thirsty Americans. Previous offerings span $1 Long Island Iced Teas, to $2 Blue Moon and Dos Equis. This August, there’s a new deal in town: Strawberry Dollaritas.
The bargain drink is a riff on Applebee’s dollar margaritas, or Dollaritas. As People reports, the new offering—a 10-ounce concoction of tequila, strawberry, and margarita mix in a frosted mug—“is the perfect way to cool down on those hot August days and enjoy the final days of summer,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, says. “It’s crazy to think that our most popular drink could get any better, but with the addition of strawberry, our guests are going to love how good this Dollarita tastes.”
