Applebee’s continues to keep things good in the neighborhood. Throughout the month of December, Applebee’s will offer $1 Long Island Iced Teas. This is hot on the heels of its month-long $1 Margarita special this past October. The Margarita special seemed outrageous at the time, but this multi-liquor Long Island Iced Tea special is taking things up a notch, and by that we mean adding pretty much the entire back bar into the mix.

Like McDonald’s breakfast, Applebee’s Long Island Iced Tea special will be available all day, every day. While there are variations on the cocktail, the Applebee’s Long Island Iced Tea is staying true to the classic recipe. Colloquially known as the Applebee’s L.I.T, the drink will include mixture of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, something called “sweet & sour mix,” and a splash of cola.

The Long Island Iced Tea is an amalgamation of four different liquors and a bunch of sugar, so approach with caution. That said, Applebee’s has been stepping up its dollar drink specials since October. “The Dollar drink is back at Applebee’s just in time for the holidays, and this time, folks can enjoy a $1 Long Island Iced Tea,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, said in a release. “The Dollar L.I.T. is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season.”

You might not think of Applebee’s as the place to get a cocktail but, as Kirk explained during $1 Margarita October, Applebee’s calls itself a neighborhood grill and bar, and they will continue to develop the beverage program. Just remember, there is a lot of liquor in these cocktails. Drink responsibly, and maybe go ahead and shell out for an Uber with all the money you saved on your bar tab?
