C.L. BUTAUD Cease & Desist Red Blend 2020
Review
Randy and Brooke Hester began their ten-year plan in Napa learning all things wine. Being native Texans, they headed to the Lone Star State to make their dream a reality. Today, they produce a wide range of wines that continue to impress. This wine has gone through a few iterations, with this blend incorporating Cinsault, Grenache, Tempranillo, and Counoise. The result is a powerful red blend with a soft approach. The nose is involved and heady with some port-like aromas balanced by dark berry fruit. The palate is concentrated to its core, only to be disturbed by excellent natural acidity, bringing a welcome soft touch.
