We’ve marveled at the wonders of the Napa Valley Wine Train and Tequila Train. Now we have another booze-fueled train ride to get excited about: the Hop Train.

The Hop Train is a new offering from the Napa Valley Wine Train tours. This time, instead of pairing a Napa Valley ride with wine (or tequila, weirdly), it’s with beer. Specifically, a trio of offerings from Napa Palisades Beer, a local brewery based in Napa.

The two-plus hour rail tour will include tastes of Palisades’ 1849 Gold Rush Red, Loco IPA, and Little Loco Session IPA. Bar bites will also be aboard, and of course, stunning views of the valley to and from Rutherford.

Hop Train tours will roll out Mondays starting June 18, and can be reserved online. Ticket price starts at $75 per person.

We keep saying craft beer is invading wine country, and now is the time to plan your beercation to Napa. The Hop Train gives us all the more reason.
