WhistlePig The Boss Hog VII Magellan's Atlantic
Review
WhistlePig’s seventh release from the Boss Hog collection is a rye whiskey unlike any other — one of distinctive character and undeniable power. Much of its profile is gained from finishing periods in Spanish oak and South American teak wood, which impart intense aromas that dance between maple, cinnamon, vanilla, and spiced, toasty wood. The palate is impossibly concentrated and — while something of a cliche — the finish truly seems to last an age. Each sip is a memorable event in its own right.
