Viluko Vineyards Malbec 2014 Review
An age-worthy Malbec? From Sonoma? Yep. Most Malbecs on the market today are plush and fruit-forward, lacking the structure for long-term aging. But this impressive wine from 2014 is still singing 10 years later. It has vibrant red fruit notes on the nose, with intense flavors of stewed plums and strawberries on the palate. There are hints of cedar, sandalwood, and a crisp minerality as well. Bright acidity and grippy tannins provide a great structure to the wine, making it great for food pairings.
