Browne Family Vineyards Malbec 2020 Review

Owner Andrew Browne’s grandfather was a lover of wine and a heavy influence him. This led to a life long dream to start a winery which him and his family set up in Spring Valley in the Walla Walla sub AVA of the larger Columbia Valley. Today they have expanded, and even diversified into distillation, but wine is the foundations it seems. This Malbec is very Washington State. It has a lightness to it but also a good solid depth. The nose is dark berries and earthy mocha with a palate that has structure and weight, but excellent acidity to keep things balanced. Steak night!
