Two Shepherds Pinot Gris Ramato 2023 Review

When William Allen founded Two Shepherds as a one-person winery in 2010, the project was entirely focused on Rhône varieties. Now, over a decade later, this venture grew into a vast lineup of wines made from grapes deserving of more love and attention. This is just one of their skin contact wines and one of the best of its style on the market. This Pinot Gris is fermented on its skins for five days, imparting a stunning copper hue. It has a juicy nose with pops of brambly berries and some white pepper. The palate is well-balanced with a juicy fruit core framed by grippy tannins.
