The Glendronach Ode to the Embers Review
Just as with its Brown-Forman portfolio mate Benriach, Glendronach is more known for its heavily-sherried single malts, but, for some reason in this tasting, it was their peated Scotch that truly hit. Don’t get us wrong, that well-known sherry richness is still prominent, it’s just there’s a tantalizing taste of campfire lingering throughout the entire pour. With bramble notes, dried fruits, and some spicy oak notes, this is one sophisticated sipper.
