Nc’nean Organic Huntress Malted Teacake Review

This experimental, limited release in handsome, recycled glass packaging comes from a small distillery on the Morvern peninsula on the West Coast of Scotland. Made with organic Scottish barley, fermented with Belgian ale yeast, and distilled on 100 percent renewable energy copper pot stills, there’s thankfully enough in the palate that it tastes as good as its ecoconsciousness makes you feel. There’s citrus zest on the nose with a light, fruity palate of lemon cookies and berry jam. It’s maybe a hair too pricy, but good deeds usually are.
