Stellum Single Barrel V2, Lyra Review
The Lyra selections from Stellum Spirits’ single barrel line were made in the spring and summer of 2021. These sourced bourbons contain a mash bill of 75 percent corn, 21 percent rye, and 4 percent barley, and arriving at just below 60 percent ABV, this one is big. At first approach, the nose is all burnt sugar and maple syrup, and an intense palate follows with oak and cherry. Add a couple of drops of water if you like, but it won’t be necessary.
